It is Honu fans like yourself that make our sea turtle projects possible thru Shop Honu.

•    The last Saturday of each month Honu sponsors a beach clean up with Save the Sea Turtles International on the North Shore of Oahu. All trash statistics are recorded and sent to the government for analyst in hopes of securing much needed federal grant money.

•    September of 2012 Honu was able to donate trash and recycle cans at Chun’s Reef, Oahu (Turtle Beach) where tourism (and trash left by tourists) is very heavy.

•    In 2012 Honu proudly donated to Keepers of the Coast in St. Augustine, Florida at The Sea Turtle Festival. These funds are used for supplies and materials in Florida where Sea Turtle Rescues take place daily.

•    Along with contributing to our current organizations – Our goal in 2013 is to be able to contribute funds to The Turtle Hospital in Marathon, Florida. Honu visited the center in 2012 so we could better understand their needs.

To ensure that Sea Turtles and humankind cooperatively inhabit the earth’s seas, Team Honu contributes a portion from
every pair of Honu sandals sold to sea turtle conservation efforts in Hawaii and beyond.
