Meagan Ethell and Taylor McCullough @ Shred Sisters

A few months back the Worrall family and the Deary put time and effort setting up an event with one thing in mind; giving a group of young female riders the day of their lives by inviting the best women riders in the world to share in a day of fun and wakeboarding, the Shred Sisters event was born. Meagan Ethell and Taylor McCullough came out to the event site, which you may recognize from DEFY, to put on demo’s, do ride-alongs, and help the girls with some instruction behind the Performance Ski and Surf Nautique. Smiles were overflowing and the event was a huge success. Check the pro women throwing down some hammers while riding doubles with the event attendees. Bob Sichel – Day in the Life

Man, does Bob “Let’s Get Some Food” Sichel love to eat or what? All I can say about him is that he shreds behind the boat, he shreds on the cable, he has great taste in travel buddies, and he is one of the nicest dudes around. The new Humanoid product is looking pretty shnazzy on his feet too I’d say.

Monday Mishap 3/4

I know I may be partial to this Monday Mishap because it involves some very good friends of mine, but still, a whirlybird to front edge will never get old…ever. Canadian coach at the Wakeboard Camp Nick Dorsey has been on a tear lately learning new tricks every week. However, this first attempt at a Switch Whirly may have rattled him a bit. Knowing Nick he probably laughed it off and tried again the next day. Thank you to Brandon Judd for editing this together, and thank you to Billy Park for providing the comical audio.

NKOTB – David Stubbs

I first saw David Stubbs ride in the winter of early 2010. It was on a river in Blenheim, New Zealand on a trip I had planned to go visit some friends. “Stubbs” as he is referred to, impressed me right off the bat with a very cool outlook on the sport and a focus on the family of tricks that I had always thought were the most fun to watch. He was a very mellow mannered, polite guy that was really fun to be around. The following year Stubbs made the trek over to the States to put some time in coaching and riding at The Wakeboard Camp and became an beast on the water. Don’t worry though, he is still one of the coolest cats I know so don’t be scared of him. Mutual friend and Wakeboard Camp coach Billy Park noticed the Brad Pitt resemblance, we see it.

Kiwis in FL

Clermont FL and The Wakeboard Camp have always been welcoming and open-armed towards our friendly allies on the other side of the world. Kurt Robertson took it upon himself to put a piece together showing how they roll during their stays here. I can speak from personal experience in saying that these Kiwis, as well as the others that I have ridden with, are some of the most fun people to ride with. Peep it.
